Pontiac Bonneville

Bonneville has been the traditional name of large, sports Pontiac limousines since 1955. A completely new model by this name debuted in 1999. This large sedan of sports characteristics competes with vehicles of higher class. The SE and SLE basic versions feature a 3.8-liter 208 hp V6 engine, while the leading GXP version has been equipped with the to sales outlets, comes from Australia and is a version of the Holden Monaro CV8 produced at the plants in Elizabeth. Initially, it was offered with a 5.7-liter 350 hp V8 engine, which in 2004 was re- placed with a 6.0-liter 405 hp V8 unit joined with a manual 6-speed gearbox or a 4-speed automatic transmission. In both cases, the power plants come from the Chevrolet Corvette model. Well-known Northstar 4.6-liter 279 hp V8 unit.
